For most Christians it takes discipline to read and study the Bible on a regular basis, but if a person takes a stand and proclaims a belief in something - they should be taking the time to fully understand what they are basing their belief in. It's safe to say that many Christians rarely read the Bible outside of their church attendance and even fewer Christians have read the entire Bible at least once. As a Christian you believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God - yet, have you read it? We read so many other books, why not the important Book!!!

Dictionary links and commentary are options that are built into the user's "scriptures for the day" page as possible helps in understanding what they are reading. Email reminders are sent out when the reader lapses to help the reader to develop the discipline to regularly read the Bible. This is not web site where everyone is reading the same scriptures each day - the reader determines where they want to start and how much they want to read each day.
